Malloy's call to donate to blackboxvoting.org

I think this is our best bet to find out what really happened to the election. They need money to pay the cost of gathering information on actual voting results. Hope others donate what they can too.

3. I already donated $25 when Randi was on the air...

...and so many people were trying to access the website, we brought it down. A trucker called in to Randi asking for a phone number, and he donated $1000. I'm sure they got at least $1 million dollars today alone, but they are going to need a whole lot more.

Malloy challenged all his listeners ~1,000,000 to give $5 each.
That would be a pretty good downpayment on the costs of requesting the information.

8. Not a million. Enough to get us through 2 flights of FOIAs

We have three flights, plus the followup and the infrastructure to coordinate all this, so we're about 1/3 of the way there.

The fund raising today was kind of a miracle. A very, very helpful move, because the Qui Tam settlement, which was supposed to come through before the election, to the tune of about $125k after taxes and divisions, did not materialize.

I had planned to use that for the massive FOIA effort. When the settlement did not come through, I did the FOIA anyway and prayed we could come up with the funds to pay for it.

Other organizations need funding as well to continue their efforts on this ever important topic.

and all the other voting advocacy groups that exist.

These groups have all played an important part in the voting issue and must not be neglected. Now is more important than ever to allow these groups to continue their work.
