Some graphs to further point out how electronic voting was fraudulent
http://bellaciao.org/en/article.php3?id_article=4175

Ignore the story (its stuff we've read already and in fact refers to us), just read the graphs. The graphs clearly show how the paper voting was fine, but electronic voting was WAY OFF.

How is this not clear to the media?

1. Here's a detail that may be worth considering:
The times the polls closed in a given state. For example, Maine looks good, but the polls there closed an hour later than NH, which looks bad. The argument being made is that the EARLY exit polls were flawed, and they got better as the night wore on. Pennsylvania closed at 8. The Wisconsin (paper) and New Mexico (electronic) gaps are not that far apart.

3. I don't get what you are saying.
Last I checked, New Mexico was heavily favoured to go to Kerry, by all exit polls even as the day wore on, they changed them in HINDSIGHT after Bush won.

4. yes, we know the exit polls were changed....
the claim is they weren't changed but that the first results leaked to the press were incomplete.... overweighted to women and that better exit #'s came in later.

5. The early exit polls lined up perfectly with state polls and the Ind break
for challenger rule.

6. well, I'm no expert... still asking questions....
so you may well be right. But my memory is that the state polls were all over the place... and I do not recall NM being a foregone conclusion for Kerry.

10. It was a clear break for Kerry, due to Inds breaking for him heavily.
And the ridiculously strong democratic base in the state. There are 530,000 odd dems in the state compared to around 350k republicans. Check the site for official figures, but I know dems have around a 180k lead, and NM has a HUGE swatch of independents, too, something in the 170k range.

8. The thing that interests me...
About the exit polling.

EXHIBIT 1: Women were over-sampled.

QUESTION: Well, since "W" gained so many women via his own after-the-fact sampling, shouldn't that have shown up in the early exit polls?

Seriously. Supposedly, * gained with women. So if the early polls were weighted towards them, why was he losing?

I guess a few million women just changed their minds after 3pm Eastern. Dunno...

9. To hell with electronic voting, punch cards etc....
Why can't the whole Nation just do it like we do here in Oregon??? We have our ballots mailed to us and we get to vote in our own time. When you are done you have the choice of mailing it back at least 5 days before the election or you can just drop it off at the election offices.
