Remember the ad that was run during the Iowa primary stereotyping us all as "volvo driving, latte-sipping", etc, etc...liberals?

If we were to do that about a red state all fuckin' hell would break loose.

How do we correct that imbalance? We gotta start fighting back.

2. Because we suck at messaging
I have sat in meetings with liberals strategizing on policy and talking points, and I have to tell you, it drives me crazy. Instead of driving to a coherent message and all getting on the same page with it, more value is placed on "everyone letting their feelings and thoughts be known." "Everyone has their own opinions and should be free to express them"

That kind of shit. No, that doesn't get it done. Did you hear Dick Durbin tonight? "Well, Bush MAY have a mandate, but that doesn't mean we are going to lay down and die" or something to that effect.

I guess he missed the memo where we told him, "no, Bush has no mandate. Do not let the word mandate pass your lips except to say it's bullshit."

Republicans have those memos. People read them, and they get in line. That's why they win. They find a winning message and then everyone marches lock step to pound it.

3. Because...
They hate us for our freedoms. ;)

In all seriousness, you're right. If I ever hear another "Land of Fruits and Nuts" crack from some stupid git who thinks it's the funniest, most original damned thing in the whole wide world, I'll vomit all over his NASCAR T-shirt.

On the other hand, since I'm never leaving the West Coast again except to fly to NYC (or Australia), I'll probably never run into another NASCAR Dud.

Oh, crap! I forgot! They hate us libruls, yet they STILL swell the state during tourist season!

Funny how that works, isn't it?

8. One of NASCAR's bigger tracks
Is the California Speedway about 40 miles east of L.A.

Plus, NASCAR is building a new track in Snohomish County, Washington:

10. And more
Quaoar, in addition to California speedway there's Infineon racetrack in Sonoma Ca. NASCAR is no longer a southern sport, for example
New Hampshire raceway, Louden; Dover Del; Chicagoland; Pocono, Long Pond PA; Nazereth PA; Watkins Glen NY; Pikes Peak; Pheonix.

5. Especially since our tax money pours into Red State Welfare --
the result of our elite idea of getting an education, working hard, and having high aspirations. We carry their heavy load on our backs. How dare they ridicule us, and hold themselves up as paragons of virtue and true American values!

7. That is the Orwellian Double-Standard common to ALL Totalitarian Nations
not just Imperial Amerika.

It was the result of countless hours of bullying & intimidation, BILLIONS of dollars spent and a recuiting program that the original Goebbels couldn't match.

I mean, now that we are as firmly encased in it as the animals of Orwell's Animal Farm, virtually EVERY discussion is rife with these Soviet-style insanities.

I will just present one example of millions

Faux ReichsPravda is run by Roger Ailes, a Republican operative and Poppy Augsutus' campaign manager. They routinely say that they are the opposite of the "Old Liberal Media". And yet, there HAS NEVER been a media outlet RUN and DIRECTED by a Democratic Political Operative.

Yet this is never mentioned, not once. The crazy Soviet mockery of "Far and Balanced" by a station run and directed by one of the highest Republican Political Operatives cannot even be raised on Corporate TV Pravda, it seems.

But this sort of thing is now as commonplace in what is laughingly called our National Dialogue as it is in the Chinese Communist media.

Of course, we China and Russia are now all on the same side, and the Free World is shockingly small.

Plus, BushPutinism provides a clear plan on how to dismantle Democracy to wannabe Tyrants and Dictators all over the world.

Can the Free World survive, or will it be extinguihsed forever?

9. We're Alone
Because we have no echo chamber in our democratic leadership for that kind of hard-hitting tactic. They pooh-pooh it.

11. That map is wrong and dividing in itself and needs to be changed
We are not all blue and not all red. I am from a red state and many here vote blue...Think Cynthia McKinney. Many blue states (so called)
voted red. They color in red where only turtles and other animals live ...same thing for blue states. The whole state is not red and neither is a whole state blue.

12. We need our own ad about the truck driving, beer drinking, Fundy wackos.
Your right...I thought the same thing. OK for them to insult us...but we can't insult them.

They all voted for bush due to religion. But that puts us in a real delemma...because we can't attack God. We need someone or a committee to guide us into the future. If not...God help us!
