Ohio-Does Schwarzenneger own biz there? We need to break it!
I am SOOOO pissed that he has called Dems losers. I am beyond pissed that he promised CA that he wouldn't be campaigning for Shrub, who DOES NOT support the interests of CA. Yet, he took his sorry ass to Ohio and did what he said he wouldn't do.

I recall someone here saying Schwarzenegger owned a biz in Ohio. Is this true? What is it? Can we start an effort to boycott it? As part of our effort to show Shrub supporters we matter by taking away what matters to them--money.

If anyone knows anything about this, please respond...pls help me out by kicking this up until someone does.

Thank you.

p.s. This isn't about revenge--but putting money where our mouths are. I also don't believe S is what CA needs. He is using us to further his career. I'm sick of being used by these people!

4. Schwarzenegger's Campaign Trip To Ohio Could Bear Political Risk
But with Bush widely unpopular in Democrat-leaning California, strategists are debating whether Schwarzenegger could bear a political cost for the Ohio trip -- especially if Bush ekes out a victory there.

"This is a very high stakes moment in this presidential race, and if Ohio is the Florida of this year's race, there won't be a lot of applauding among California Democrats for Schwarzenegger's role in that," said Marty Kaplan, a political analyst at the University of Southern California, referring to Florida's disputed vote in 2000. "He can get away with a lot, but this is a real high stakes moment and he might not be cut the same slack."

Schwarzenegger spokeswoman Margita Thompson said Tuesday the governor will appear with Bush at a campaign event Friday in Columbus, Ohio, where he maintains several business interests and hosts the annual Arnold Fitness Weekend.

5. Dems have to stick together and screw Ahnold over as much as possible
We have the state senate and house, so there should be no question that we can keep him from getting anything he wants. If only the Dems would stick it to him, and decide on their own agenda and force it on him. We need discipline in the party, and we need to toss anyone who breaks it oln important issues. If they want to vote with Repugs, let them declare Repug, so we know to vote them out of office.

I voted on various referenda bases principly on what Ahnold didn't want.

Our great task in California is to defeat this jerk. Unfortunately, we don't get a chance to vote him out for another 2 years. Hopefully we can make him look like such a loser, he won't stand a chance. The real problem, though, is finding someone good to run against him.

6. Yes, this is true...
...but while we are seeking that person, let's focus on making the most of the two years to show him to be the Repub power sychophant that he is.

Everything he says and does that doesn't measure up with the interests of the Dems of CA should be stressed and magnified as much as possible. Particularly the bigotry he has shown against special interest groups, like the Indians.

I'm going to do some research and see if I can figure out what his business interests are in Ohio--so we can team with Ohio Dems in agressive boycotting.

He betrayed our interests. The interests of CA and the interests of Dems of this state. The LEAST he could have done was just NOT campaign for B. By doing so, he has made it very clear where his interests lie. It isn't with us.

B is the worst environmental president in history. CA cares about the environment. Why campaign for someone who is in direct opposition with what we need? Why campaign for someone that denied us vital funding that may have saved many miles of land last Oct.?
