By STEVE URBON, Standard-Times senior correspondent

1. Oh Sweet Baby Jeebus!
I'm sure her iniative was "faith based" and thusly funded and protected by the federal government...move along folks, nothing to see here, especially in the future when Chief justice Thomas reads the Supreme Court decision....if it ever gets that far.

2. That teacher needs to face consequences!
She needs to be prosecuted. Teachers should NOT be allowed to push their religious or political beliefs on students. Teachers ought to be teaching kids to think for themselves by weighing facts.

5. "Prosecuted"?
Under what law, exactly, would you propose to "prosecute" this moran?

6. I'm speaking ideally of course
There is no law against this sort of thing, but I think there should be.

7. "This sort of thing"?
Oh, you mean speech? Without a doubt, this teacher is a moran, but give me a break. She deserves a letter of reprimand in her file, at most.

3. This is now perfectly acceptable.............
under the second Bush regime. As a matter of fact, children will be encouraged to tell administrators if their parents aren't regular church goers. We must stamp out these "Godless Democrats" where ever they are and all conform to Jesus Christ, our Savior. That is all citizen, continue reading your bible.

4. I would tell my son..
to go back and tell his teacher:

"Kerry doesn't kill babies, he kills embryos. Bush kills babies, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters, and even pregnant women. Bush has killed over 100,000 innocent people in Iraq because of greed."

9. I would pull my child from that classroom
citing lack of judgement, rather than political content. Talking about "killing babies" to first graders demonstrates an extreme lack of judgement and professionalism.
