Here's what we need to do
to start pushing the REAL 'morality' of this administration back on people. The corporate media won't do it so it's up to us.

1) Stop letting Bush pretend our war dead don't exist. Take pictures of the caskets coming home, go to the funerals, ask the families' permission to take pictures and explain to them that because Bush wants to hide their grief and pain and cause of it, you want to show people the MORALITY of using our kids for his war and then pretending they don't exist when he's gotten them killed. Add in whether each dead military person actually had the equipment they needed to help prevent their injury or death.

2) Go to your local veteran's organization and document the war wounded in your area and how long it's taking them to get the treatment they need, the cost in time and money and suffering.

3) Talk to older veterans and document the benefits they were promised when they gave their lives to the military and how many of those benefits are left.

4) Scan the notice Grandma gets notifying her that her Medicare is going up another 35%.

5) Document the businesses closing in your area and the numbers of jobs being done away with. If you can scan a pink slip, do so. Also make note of which companies are closing because they're going to another country.

I'm sure you can come up with more. All these things that will show the MORALITY of forgetting that 'we the people' doesn't just mean those making over a million a year.

What do we do with these things? We post them to the internet. I'm sure I'm not the only one who will make a place for at least some of them...as many as I can.

The Soviet Union was helped to fall with samizdat. At first handwritten copies of the same type of things I'm talking about...the truth about the effects of a government that doesn't really count any but its own. Samizdat helped the fall there. It can help it here, too.

1. I agree about samizdat
but as far as the military goes, we need to focus on keeping young men OUT of the military. The samizdat I will be passing out will focus on preventing our young men from participating in this wholesale slaughter of innocent people around the world and in doing so save their own lives. Once they join the military its all over--they are indoctrinated and under the control of the * Regime. And worse, they and their loved ones are most often compelled to take part in the myth that they are "fighting for our freedom" by murdering innocent people in foreign wars, and this is an incredible obstacle to overcome. You can see how that myth perpetuated itself in the attacks against John Kerry for being an anti-war protester--no matter how brave he was in combat, the fact that he tried to STOP war made him an enemy to the people who were invested in the MYTH OF WAR.
