2. Debbie Stabenaw - MI
The GOP will definetely be finding a way to go after her. She's had a good progressive record so far.

3. Santorum. Please, Pennsylvania DU'ers, get rid of this evil creep.
I'll empty out what's in my bank account to do what I can to eject this piece of shit from Congress.

10. Actually...Rendell.
I think Rendell could give Santorum a serious fight and win. Rendell is pretty aggressive. He'd make the better candidate.

14. The reason that the reThugs were so concerned about Toomey
is that Hoeffel would have been the more electable candidate, so I think that either will do well against Sanatorium.

Th ultimate irony is that the more extreme candidate was thrown out in the primary- Toomey being the one that actually better fit the * model. Now Specter is showing that he sold out to * to get the endorsement.

I do almost hope he gets the Judiciary, and the extremists don't prevail. Could make for interesting times.

19. We are energized to do just that!
Despite GWB's 44 visits to our Commonwealth, we were not charmed or swayed, but stayed resolutely for Kerry. All indications here were that Kerry was the only candidate in PA! It was like a party in the streets in some places -- Kerry signs, honking horns... Unreal atmosphere. We are all slowly getting over the shock.

Santorum is next on our list.

7. If that's the case, I hope she whips that fucker's ass but good.
Sorry for the foul language, but my respect for him is completely gone after this election. I hope she has the footage of him critcizing our troops in Iraq...so she can use it in campaign ads. Since we'll still be in Iraq by then.

18. I don't think upstaters like him much
he's very NYC for them. Hillary has been upstate about a million times on her listening tour. I can't imagine Rudy spends too much time in Watertown talking about jobs.

Of course, the right is going to do everything in its power to destroy her - they will bring money, people, and their smear machine.

I guess what it may come down to is how much upstate feels that she's done for them.

15. At least one of those comments is dead wrong
Senator Jeffords will have not problem here. He'll remain in the Senate as long as he wants. I doubt even Howard Dean could beat him, and there's not a repub who could come within 30 points. Idiot freepers seem to think he could be vulnerable. Bwahahaha.

13. Looking at that list,
Dayton's our most vulnerable (its a shame because he's a really good guy who gives a shit), and Santorum is theirs.

24. Good list Arcos
I think Chafee is their most vulnerable. He'll either switch parties or maybe lose next election. Santorum is always a close call too.

For the Democratic list, I'd say that Dayton may be in real trouble with the closing of his Washington office. Byrd may be in trouble too. He reminds me of Bill Roth of Delaware who lost his reelection because of age and ill health. Then again, he may be more Thurmond than Roth.

Overall, it doesn't look like either side has too many obvious pick-up opportunities.

Retirements will change that no doubt.
