Nader asks for NH recount! Official news! Will prove fraud!
Edited on Sat Nov-06-04 01:32 PM by FullCountNotRecount
I hadn't heard this in the news (but what do you expect from the media?)Nader as a candidate is the only one who can request a recount. He made the 5pm deadline but will have to go to court about the check.

I don't understand those on DU who don't want to see if we can prove Fraud. Maybe that secret meeting with Kerry was about doing this.

Please support this. Ralph may need money. If we win this one it sets a precedent for checking the computers in every other state.

Edit: Meeting where Kerry and Nader didn't reveal what they talked about early in the campaign.

Why would he be asking for a recount in a state Kerry won?

8. All exit polls showed Kerry winning by 15%...
in the end, he only won by a very "fishy" 1%.

If fraud can be proven in NH...it would allow for a basis for a recount in Ohio and Florida.

12. We need to prove Fraud...
We the citizens will not accept Fraud. It sets the precedent for challenges in other states. It's not about helping Ralph, Kerry or Bush. It's about helping American democracy be honest.

23. Nader had problems paying his staff during his campaign
and this may be a way for him to get the money to pay off debts. I donated to blackboxvoting.com as requested by Rhandi Rhoades and Bev Harris and I would suggest anyone wishing to donate to do the same. We know more about their goals than we do Nader and, after a lifetime of admiring Nader, I no longer trust him. Regarding donating, except for this last time, I will NEVER donate to another candidate or the DNC because of their inaction after the election. If they are being secretive because they have one Hell of a case and will strike when they have the proof, then and only then will I reconsider donating. During the campaign I kept comparing myself to the fundies who donate blindly to their religious leaders who live in fancy mansions and ride around in expensive cars, and, frankly, I didn't like that feeling, so no more. They take your money and then leave you high and dry.

Maybe they thought we wouldn't notice because Kerry won it. They think we are as Dumb as the Fundies.

11. And the popular vote had to be padded wherever possible...
so that it wouldn't even look close enough to dispute.

13. Even though Kerry won it, extra votes added to *
would 1) be more proof of his "mandate" and 2) give him the popular vote - making it less likely for people to think there was fraud.

They can't have the battleground states be the only ones so far off from the other's - even some of the lazy media and "please do my thinking for me" FAUX watchers might notice if it were that skewed.

15. It's stuff like this...
That made me want Nader for President.

On election day, I secretly hoped against hope that the whole country was lying about who they would vote for and everyone would vote Nader.

21. I was never for the Nader bashing
I just wasn't voting for him and didn't want other people to either. Maybe I was even overly pragmatic, now that I think of it. If he had been on the ballot in Southern states it might have been that Republicans would have voted for him (wishful thinking?). Besides the Greens and Nader were on the ballot in Colorado and I wasn't about to waste my breath trying to get them off.

22. Don't believe this BS, Nader is a Bush hand puppet
and this is non-sense. There is nothing Nader can do. He has no credibility and this is the last time we will every see him run for any office besides maybe 'dog catcher'.

25. Our own IdaBriggs of DU started this, not Ralph Nader
listen, Ida Briggs of DU started this, she tried to get Kerry to sign the damn request for two days, but his camp said they were not interested, so she called Nader and seeing that only he Kerry and Bush can ask for a Presidential recount, she tried, he said ok, let's give it a shot.

Pay no attention to the freepers trying to dissuade you.
Read the damn story yourself.
