another thread debates whether Bush would nuke fallujah.
got me to thinking...

a few months ago i read some articles that indicated Bush wanted to develop small nukes that would devastate smaller areas than current weapons....and that they'd have 'bunker buster' capabilities, meaning they could penetrate deep underground before detonating.

If Bush has these weapons I think he won't hesitate to use them.

think of what you've read about Bush lately....."God speaks through me," and the Suskind piece in the NYT....they create new realities when they act and all the rest of you can do is watch...

Bush aide: "We're an empire now."

and now, he's unshackled from the need to win the election (i do not say 'elected' or 're-elected.'

Take a gander, while you're at it, at some of the real whacko right-wing fundy sites. They truly do want to destroy Islam....they believe Bush was right when he called it a 'crusade.'

1. No, no, no. Islam is an excellent bogeyman.

Why would they want to destroy it? What would they be in permanent war with then?

No, what they want to destroy is secular humanism.
