SVFT ads got lucky because they got picked up by the media, so they got a LOT of FREE airing! Unfortunately, the people who proved them to be liers didn't have the $$ to stop them fast enough!

The Pubs had a flyer program to distribute Shrub flyers in thousands of church parking lots on Sun. before the election! That really motivated Shrub's base, and we didn't have a distribution plan to counter that.

We weren't able to afix blame for ANYTHING to Shrub! He blamed the economy on Clinton, the war on 9/11, the intelligence failures on the CIA, and there was that poor little shrub from Tx. who's just trying to do the right think, and he need YOUR HELP! It's a tough battle to win!!!

I can only see one ray of hope in the outcome of this election. For the FIRST TIME in his life Shrub is going to have to deal with his own mess! Four years is too long ago to blame Clinton, and he's got too much control on the house and senate to blame the Dems. (At least for 2 years.) I only hope the remaining Dems can fight him hard enough that he doesn't do too much permanent damage!!!

That If we fail in the mid terms we run a great risk of losing our last tool: the fillibuster. Then there will be NO checks & balances at all.We are getting close folks to losing that so we need to re-organize and act quickly.

Our Democratic representation against these neo-cons resembles a compromised cardiac patient......a "cardiac cripple".....

Don't you remember when Johnson was told that if he forced the elimination of slavery and discrimination, he would be loosing the South for a Decade? Well, they were right, except it wasn't a decade, it was a generation or two!

I happen to be white, and female. I lived 44 years in Pennsylvania and moved to the South in 1987. I was shocked to still see the "black only" water fountains on the side streets of Greenville SC! I've since lived in Tx, and now in Ga. They still are fighting to keep the to keep the Confederate Flag flying! Believe me...THERE'S STILL A CONNECTION!!!!
