Bev Harris, BBV: contact Senator Mike DeWine
http://dewine.senate.gov/

Good friend of his says he's alarmed and suspicious about the election (and he's a Republican). He said that this country could be in "real trouble", though he's not very familiar with BBV.

No link-a good friend from Ohio works with someone close to him.

14. He is an intense neo-con.....
He wrote the bill on Partial Birth Abortions.......He will spill his guts.....If we try and depend on him to address this concern, he will confess to rove as if he was the Pope and leave us high and dry....and put up the "good guy front...

2. I counsel great caution with this.
Great caution indeed. Try to do this through some kind of intermediary with drag.

4. Good friend in Ohio also said that this person
knows people in the Edwards campaign as well. Said that Edwards wanted to wait 72 hours before conceding, but Kerry obviously disagreed. If Elizabeth Edwards is still here, maybe she can back it up!

5. Need a better contact than his website
Bev needs a (hopefully senior) staff member or this is pointless.

Just the way DC works...so if you have a name of someone in one of his offices, that's the best place to start.

So your friend needs to get involved personally I think.

7. Agreed. I might be able to pass some information through DeWine's
friend. They've been close for many years. The friend is a Dem, by the way.

9. That would be GREAT. If DeWine won't get involved (my guess)
perhaps he can suggest some good people TO get involved.

I don't see ANY member of congress spending their political capital on this without MAJOR non-circumstantial evidence.

But DeWine can be EXTREMELY helpful with suggestions.

11. Thank you!
so far he has said "I don't have any evidence, but it doesn't feel right. The election didn't go the way everyone was expecting it would. We could be in real trouble here".
