How come the State Lotteries run without a glitch?

Daily, across the country, millions of lottery tickets are purchased without fraud. Most certainly you have a paper receipt!

Can't this system be transfered or adapted for voting? Maybe we will need to have our states set up terminals, like where we pick our lottery tickets....or local government offices.....

joe sixpack would raise hell if the govt messed up his winning lottery ticket. but if they mess up his presidential ticket he just doesnt care

2. Don't be afraid to use the "F" word.

It's not in the best interest of state officials for fraud to take place in state lotteries, because the players would begin to talk and stop playing.

Fraudulent voting procedures actually help republican office holders along these lines. If the voting populace believes their votes aren't being counted and are too polite to speak truth to power, they just won't vote. And we all know who benefits from low turnout, don't we?

3. Florida Lottery Boycott

I have felt for a long time that the Florida lottery is fixed. The other * cut all taxes and there isn't much money but the lottery brings in a lot. It just doesn't seem to run up high pots anymore. I don't participate....another thing to boycott

4. It's not only lottery tickets, it's ATM's, EVERY business of any size,

records ALL their transactions via a much more complicated computer system than these damn voting machines!

There is One BIG DIFFERENCE! In EVERY OTHER TRANSACTION, there is no anonimity! You always have some source document to go back to!

The ONLY solution I can think of is the one suggested by Black Box Voting, where there is an actual hard copy printout that is shown to each voter and then dropped into a sealed box, and sctually COUNTED after the machine tally. That's the only way to create a scource document!

That's the solution we have to push for!
