9. we saw it happen in another county
I believe it was Ohio were Cobb wasn't suppose to be on. The computer glitched and gave numbers that were Kerry to other fillers.

18. You're not slow.
The original poster seems to be unaware that several third party candidates often run in presidential elections and get a few votes.

4. Ummmm....
What point were you trying to make?

These are just numbers.

Nothing whatsoever to say anything about if they are right or wrong...

They might be fraudulent numbers, but you cannot support that position by just the bald repeating of the official vote counts.

14. You mean the third parties?
Yeah, they might be, but I doubt it. They seem right in line with third party voting trends.

In any case, even if all added and put in our column, we don't win it.

The real fraud is in the moving of Democratic votes to the GOP column.

10. Well the Bush and Kerry numbers are
likely wrong, based on some of the evidence we have seen, now we got to get to proving it.

However, the other numbers seem pretty believable to me. Which ones do you question. That's the whole state there, and so Naders number looks as expected. He got something like 97K votes last time.

16. And Kerry lost by 380,000 votes.
Edited on Sat Nov-06-04 04:18 PM by TwilightZone
I must be missing the point. Even if every, single other vote is for Kerry (which, of course, they're not), Kerry is still waaaay behind Bush. We're going to need votes from the Bush column. A lot of 'em.

Just because you've never heard of some of these people doesn't mean that they weren't on the ballot and received votes.

17. They're not "no-names"
They're third party candidates and the total votes they got was about 1%, about what would be expected.

Peroutka - Constitution Party
Badnarik - Libertarian Party
Cobb - Green Party
Harris - ?
Brown - A socialist party, not sure which one
Nader - Independent candidate

Note that even if all their votes went to Kerry, not even close to changing the results. Anyway no Peroutka vote would have gone to Kerry, the Badnarik vote would have split. Presumably the Cobb, Brown and Nader votes would have gone Kerry.
