My point is - too many people see only red or blue and not the people and division within.

In many "blue" states, the vote for Kerry was only 1% lower than it was in a similar "red" state. Iowa and Wisconsin, for example. 50/49 Bush vs. 50/49 Kerry. One red, one blue.

It's funny because when they first started using this color scheme four years ago I thought more Republicans would complain because red was traditionally associated with communism.

and BTW, believe it or not, I belong to the local Southern Baptist church and attend regularly. And if Christ would move to a blue state, I must say I am thinking of emulating Him even more because the thought of moving out of Texas has weighed heavily on my mind this week.

However, Christ would not stay in the blue state. He would venture often to the red states to confront the Pharisees and minister to the despised sinners in their midst who were being met with judgment and condemnation.

I see the "strong delusion" these people are under almost every Sunday. The pastor openly campaigned for the regime from the pulpit in spite of the fact it wasn't at all necessary since we are in Texas. Of course, he was careful to hedge his language to stay within 501(c)3 guidelines.

He often administered to the down trodden. He also was not adverse in attacking hypocrisy in high places. Probably would have stayed in some of the Red States. He would have had a hard time there.
