Thoughts to ponder
It was not just the issues that hurt Kerry.

It was not just the smears that hurt Kerry.

It was not the flip-flopping that hurt Kerry.

What hurt Kerry? The likes of Karl Rove!

Remember that the shrub thanked Rove for his plan to win.

Personally, as long as Karl Rove is around Democrats are going to lose. Karl Rove goes back a long way. He is the vermin of the earth, we need to debunk this so called man.

We can talk issues forever, we can talk where the party should go, and we can talk candidates but as long as Rove is in charge, we will never win.

These are my thoughts but we are butting our heads against the wall with Rove. We must beat him at his own game. He is always several steps ahead. THIS IS THE DEVIL, ROVE IS SATAN.

3. Keep pondering
Rove beat the Democrats at their own game - voter turnout. He is not the devil, he is not some super-human Svengali. He's a guy who did a better job than his counterpart. Rove saw his guy lose the pop. vote in 2000, and asked himself how he could win it 2004. He came up with the right answers. His Democratic counterparts need to ask themselves the same question, and come up with the right answer. Demonizing Rove is the answer Rove would like to hear from the Democrats because it ignores the real issue.

4. If anyone gets "Sundance" channel and hasn't seen it already, I

highly recommend seeing "Bush's Brain." I just got a chance to catch it tonight. I hope Rove burns in hell for the sneaky, slimy shit he's done (two words: whisper campaigns) to McCain, Kerry, Cleland and Richards.

BUSH'S BRAIN

directed by Michael Paradies Shoob and Joseph Mealey

YEAR
2004

79 MINS, Color

When Karl Rove gives a public interview, he projects an affable personality and downplays any speculation about his powerful influence in the Bush White House. But as recounted in this documentary by Michael Paradies Shoob and Joseph Mealey, the Texan political operative is far from a supporting player. Tracing Rove's rise to power, BUSH'S BRAIN alleges a shady history of campaign dirty tricks, including scurrilous smears against past Bush foes like Ann Richards and John McCain. "Darkly comical, seriously scary" -- Variety. PG13 (AL) Stereo
