Here's how. Look at the results in the two tables found at this page:
http://ustogether.org/Florida_Election.htmNote that, this time, the election was stolen not by manipulation of touch screen machines (as appears to be the case in Georgia in 2002), but in optical scanner counties.
Look at the touch screen counties: Increased turnout is evident in most counties, and the vote is proportionate to Republican-Democrat registrations. The 820,000 new votes (votes over expected) run 410,491 Republican, and 414,913 Democrat. This would be the voting of independents assuming 100% of Repubs and Democrats vote their party and turnout is equal across all three, Repubs, Democrats, and independents alike. A tight race, no surprises there.
Now look at the optical scanner counties: In this case, swings to Republican votes happen in huge percentages in county after county to the point where up to 100% of the independent voters and up to 50% of the Democratic voters would have had to vote Republican to yield the observed numbers.
Some sample counties ("expected vote" refers to the proportion based on 100% fidelity to party by Repubs and Democrats and at the evenly proportioned turnout at the observed percentage):
* Union: actuals (3,396 Republican, 1,251 Democrat); registration (18.3% R, 75.5% D); 66.2% turnout; expected vote (855 R, 3,529 D).
* Escambia: actuals (93,311 R, 48,207 D); registration (43.8% R, 40.7% D); 75.3% turnout; expected vote (62,602 R, 58,149 D).
* Jackson: actuals (12,092 R, 7,529 D); registration (22.0% R, 71.5% D); 72.8% turnout; expected vote (4,339 R, 14,127 D).
The 626,221 independent votes in optical scanner counties went 612,971 Republican and 13,250 Democratic -- in other words, the voter surge went 45-to-1 Republican!!! Possible? Yes. Probable? Absolutely not!
Moreover, the Republican vote in these counties totals 1,950,213 while there were only 1,841,873 registered Republicans! Even if there was 100% turnout, then still there are 148,000 more Republican votes than there are registered Republicans!!!
Given these observations, and coupled with the exit polling anamolies and known attempts at voter suppression, there is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that we are looking at a stolen election.
