Wish FBI wold grow some balls and pull a 60's civil rights type invest-

1. Synchronicity ...

I'm watching that on Showtime as I type and was having a similar thought.

5. (edited) If you ask me, widespread acceptance that U.S elections

are fraudulent is a much greater blemish to democracy than the exposure and prosecution of a corrupt Admnistration. And lets face it, Bushies might be riding high, but they are relatively new on the block when it comes to blue blood power powerbrokers.

3. That's fiction, not reality
The FBI was part of the problem back then.

7. Yep. The FBI was indeed part of the problem back then. That's
the problem with thinking movies take the place of reading a history book.

4. Background
One thing Hoover hated was anyone challenging government power. He hated many parts of the Civil Rights Movement but he remembered the hated Klan more. The agents themselves could be even less racially colorblind.

It depends on the chain of command in that investigative outfit. Bad directors didn't turn on their WH administrations. Only the Dems would put sour GOP directors in and give them an honest hand. Bobby showed why family might not be such a hot idea by humiliating the Mafia which in fact had been supporting JFK and the CIA.

The nice, idealistic, straight arrow CIA guys are on our side. Kind of pathetic. Purges going on I am sure. More BFEE CIA cronies multiplying.

There should be a Washington manual on ineffectual good citizenship for suckers.
