1. Thanks for the info -- but there's NO chance in hell
that I'm going to watch that crap. NONE.

One look at Karl Rove, and it will be :puke::puke::puke:

And what the hell is the deal with James Dobson getting an outlet on a major news show to spew his hatred. Why doesn't ABC just get it over with and invite David Duke to be on the show????

2. I like to hear Obama speak but I will wait until he is on the floor of the
Senate. I will not give cable shows one more second of time.
They have failed the nation.

3.  I gave up tv news this week.
In the tv world ratings mean advertising dollars. You watch these shows, you are enabling the repuke execs who will continue to prop up the chimp at every opportunity. Don't watch and their ratings suffer and they lose ad revenue and eventually they'll either be yanked or they'll be forced to rethink. They need us a hell of a lot more than we need them.

12. So did I.
I couldn't stomach watching the endless replays of the insufferable smirk. I have also boycotted the news and opinion sections of both newspapers to which we subscribe. There is a limit to my masochism.:puke:

14. Haven't watched since Wednesday morning. Don't intend to until
we have real journalism again in this country, or I can watch CBC, or hell freezes over, which ever comes first.

7. I think
I may start doing what a lot of people do on Sunday and get up and go back to my church. You remember how the "moderate" Muslim community was admonished speak out against the radicals and not allow their faith to be hijacked? What's good for the goose.....

8. No, they are going on those shows
to present a moderate face for the Republican Party. You'll likely be seeing a lot of them in the near future, and the more radical Bush's agenda, the more you'll be seeing them.

11. All but Fox....
Edited on Sun Nov-07-04 07:44 AM by itzamirakul
My Sunday morning habit has been to watch all the major shows even though they were tilting as far left as the Leaning Tower of Piazza.
All except FOX! No more! I haven't watch FOX news for years now and I never plan to start watching them again, UNLESS they give the liberals EQUAL TIME with the right wing - and there will be snowballs in hell before that ever happens!

I have the radio on and I am online. Their advertisers just spent money on ads that I will never see.

16. TV is off and that's the way it's staying
I, too, would love to see Obama, but that will have to wait for now. At this moment, AAR, DU and The Daily Show are it for me. When there's a real expose of this administration, then I'll turn it back on.

17. If Anybody here is planning to watch these Thugs
just make sure you write down the sponsors for all the programs
this am. Action on Russert is my first choice.
I can not watch. sorry.

18. I almost turned the tv on to watch Barak
but then I remembered I have sworn off all news shows even for Barak. I will wait until he is on a more worthy venue. I wonder how the ratings would be affected if all 55 million Kerry voters turned off these crappy programs?

19. If every Kerry voter turned the
tv off and kept it off, these bastards wouldn't know what hit them. They live and die by ratings. The higher the rating, the higher the advertising rates. Even a small drop in their Nielsen "share" can mean huge financial losses. Who watches these shows anyway? I'm guessing Joe Freeper isn't too interested in Meet the Press or Face the Nation or This Week or even Wolf on CNN. He's convinced they're all pro-Democrat - ludicrous as that is. No, these shows appeal to well-informed political junkie types - millions of them Democrats. If those millions gave the whores a giant middle finger and refused to tune in, the impact would be huge. It's the one important bit of leverage we have. They need us a hell of a lot more than we need them.
