How can one believe in Revelations, but totally miss the anti-Christ part?
and the fact that he will be totally unrecognizable and pass as a true christian but will actually be the beast who fools them all and hastens the end of times.

weird stuff, believe in only preferred parts of scripture, and ignore others.

2. I have been thinking about that all morning
Bless my minister! Today he made this statement, "When Jesus first started his ministry, he was followed by thousands, then hundreds, then his inner circle. In the end, he was all alone. May we all strive to live like Jesus." I got chills when he said that. It was so clear to me that the "followers" want Christianity to be what *they* want, not what the Bible says.

3. Even Nostrodamas describes Bush
Even Nostrodamas described Bush to some level as fitting the roll of the third Antichrist where the world had a choice to stop him.

7. I'm an atheist, but...
I believe in self-fulfilling prophecy. Bush is indeed the antiChrist that Christians have been fervently hoping for--except Jesus isn't going to come and save their asses in the nick of time.

11. We are all the Anti-Christ when we do harm to ourselves and others.
Bush just appears to have more power because he is out front...if we really want peace on earth...it will begin with the individual...us...you and me.it isn't too late.

How many of us have habits that are bad for our health (our body is our temple/home)? How many of us say one thing and do another? How many of us lie? How many of us have deep seated, unresolved, anger that we transfer to society and others who have nothing to do with the cause of it?

All of these things and many more are "anti-christ"....so...bush isn't the anti christ because there is more than one...and he isn't god...because we are all gods...we are all creators...he was given an opportunity to do wonderful things as president...he chose to take the low road...so..take the time and review what we have created in our own lives with the opportunities we have been given...no matter how large or small... the only difference between all of us is what we do with what we have been given. All of us impact the planet..and the weather..and the politics...and the people around us we hold dear.

As a new resolution for 2005...pledge to clean house...first your own internal house...then...the white house. We can do it!

So be it! So it is!

8. I started posting "Bush is the Anti-Christ"
on a small discussion board in NE Nevada (elko.net) a few weeks before the election and the fundies and those that manipulate the fundies all went ballistic.

It's a great argument because the fact that they like Bush proves he is the Anti-Christ, because the prophesy says people and Christians will like the Anti-Christ.

I linked it to the upswing in abortion under Bush as "proof"

It drives them crazy and with the newest hype on the "morals/values"
we need to keep this line of attack up.

9. The Beast?
Maybe, I can't rule it out, in fact it has occurred to me before. I do have a problem thinking that Bush is smart enough to be the Anti-Christ. If he is, though, would that make Condoleeza Rice the "Great Whore of Babylon"?

10. false prophets,
wolves in sheeps clothing. I know the Bible talks about a number of them before the anti-Christ. I think all these televangelists fit the bill. Where Bush fits in, I don't know for sure, but he's no Christian and a whole lot of people have been duped into believing he is. I am very fearful of what lies ahead.

15. I may be a bit weak on my Biblical Theology
But, I think the Anti-Christ was supposed to rule for 7 years. If that is the case then we either have three to go or one more year if you count his time in Texas.

I remember reading an article a while back that made the points for Bush being the Anti-Christ and Bin Laden being the Prophet. I sent it to all the right-wing Christian Bush followers I know.

I could be incorrect on the time span it has been ages since I studied Theology.

Hey, if the shoe fits...
