CNN poll: "Will the Fallujah assault stop or inflame the insurgents?"

I stopped by CNN tonight to see if there is any news about Fallujah and there's my old friend, Carol "Kerry shot his wad at this convention" Lin drooling about the upcoming assault. She questioned a reporter who reveals that a NEW! IMPROVED shock and awe bombping campaign will preced the urban combat. (This is an industrial city of 300,000) And top top it off, she chirps that we should all vote on her "poll"! So pop some popcorn 'Murka, we're goin' in!

But I was surfing to see if the battle had begun. And tomorrow, all Scott Peterson News returns :)

I saw that self-hating Filipina witch on TV and was scarred by the experience. What a complete and utter nutcase.

She fails to realize the GOP she so happily fellates will send her to the camps for not being white enough, right along with those of us who refuse to join the Christian Taliban.

"November 7, 10:15 pm. U.S. bombing of Fallujah has just demolished a newly-built, just-opened hospital, the Nazzal Emergency Hospital.

After waiting for "permission" from Ayad Allawi (i.e., after doing preliminary bombing to soften up their targets), apparently U.S. forces have begun ground movements leading to the final offensive.

Allawi declared martial law for 60 days, across the whole country except for the three northern Kurdish-run governorates, ostensibly to guarantee security before the elections, now scheduled for January 27. In truth, of course, security for the elections could have been imposed a week in advance. There are two reasons for this declaration of martial law.

First, and most important, the political climated created by the first assault on Fallujah, and by the defeat (withdrawal of U.S. forces without gaining their political objective) has meant that resistance forces can counterattack across much of the country while U.S. forces are concentrating on Fallujah.
