C-Span:Kerry is in SC giving a good speech......large crowd! I think it's

his "kick off" day. Glad to see such a huge group there.......and nice applause. Anyone watching? He mentioned corporate coruption, jobs and Bush trying roll back pollution contols. He's talking about giving every American the same health care as Congress gets, and mentioned his prostate cancer and that he got good care and wants every American to have the care he did.

He's trashing Bush.........saying that we need an Attorney General whose name is NOT John Ashcroft. Got huge applause!

He's bashing the NRA and gets applause........

It's a good speech.......At the end he is picking up tempo and speaking with conviction. Very lively at the end!

1. Lets face it though,

Kerry stands for nothing. Sure he wants to get rid of John Ashcroft, and of course he'll bash the NRA, like most dems, but over all, he stands for nothing. When you here him talk and questions are trown at him, his answers are wishy washy at best. He doesn't stand firm on anything, he's horible. Sorry to say this, as much as I don't want it to happen, but even whistle ass would kill this guy at election time.

but i like kerry as he is. i like his detailed answers rather than the apeshit's "dead or alive", "bring 'em on", "axis of evil" simplistic crap.

4. I agree,

anyone's answer is better than the idiot and chief's. Hell, a third grader has better answers. But Kerry stands directly in the middle of the road. Interviewer: "What about education." Kerry: "I think all kids should be educated." Interviewer: "What about the war on terror." Kerry: "I think the war on terror is a good thing."

These are the types of answers you get out of the guy. Generic. TAKE A STAND FOR CHRIST SAKES. Stop trying to not ruffle feathers. RUFFLE EM!!!

As someone from Massachusetts I can tell you Kerry has been everything we could have ever wanted in a Senator. never afraid to stand up for what he believes in and doing a great job representing the views of his constituents.

7. Yeah

There are a lot of people asking questions after the speech and he seems to be giving short but articulate answers. Overall, I don't think that was a bad appearance.
