"I am committed to delivering Ohio's electoral votes to the President." From a letter written in August 2003. Hold on I'll get you a link.

on edit- Will's article today is lengthy but really informative. It's in there as well as many other places.

4. Isn't that a conflict of interest?

And since he did deliver Ohio for Bush, doesn't that have any
bases for a law suit?

If the shoe was on the other foot...

6. Ohio never bought all those Diebold machines
What makes people think Wally Odell did deliver the state to Bush, then?

7. It's not the voting machines that are in question
It's the machines who count the ballots.

And Ohio purchased most of them from Diebold.

10. I could imagine rigged or flushed ballots by EVMs
Card readers--I would like to see the method used to steal votes in a punched card reader.

13. Go to www.blackboxvoting.org to see how it's done
Bev Harris not only tells you how to steal votes in a card reader, but demonstrates how to steal votes on a Diebold reader.

12. The CNP Rigged Voting Machine
Well. To cover all his campaign bases, God spoke not just to Bush, but to Diebold as well. A mandate from God is a mandate from God.

Diebold’s Walden O’Dell, a top Bush fundraiser, publicly committed himself to delivering his home state Ohio’s votes to Bush. At Diebold, the election division is run by Bob Urosevich. Bob’s brother, Todd, is a top executive at "rival" ES&S. The brothers were originally staked by Howard Ahmanson, a member of the Council For National Policy , a right-wing steering group stacked with Bush true believers. Ahmanson is also one of the bagmen behind the extremist Christian Reconstruction Movement , which advocates the theocratic takeover of American democracy.

The four companies are interconnected; they are not four "competitors". Ahmanson has large stakes in ES&S..(snip)

All about the good old CNP. What I would give to see some serious MSM investigative dot-connecting into this christo-fascist club:

8. Ballot counting machines are Diebold and ES&S
Both are controlled by Bush supporters.

9. Evidence Mounts that the Vote Was Hacked
http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/110804Z.shtml

In Baker County, for example, with 12,887 registered voters, 69.3% of them Democrats and 24.3% of them Republicans, the vote was only 2,180 for Kerry and 7,738 for Bush, the opposite of what is seen everywhere else in the country where registered Democrats largely voted for Kerry.

In Dixie County, with 4,988 registered voters, 77.5% of them Democrats and a mere 15% registered as Republicans, only 1,959 people voted for Kerry, but 4,433 voted for Bush.

The pattern repeats over and over again - but only in the counties where optical scanners were used. Franklin County, 77.3% registered Democrats, went 58.5% for Bush. Holmes County, 72.7% registered Democrats, went 77.25% for Bush.

Yet in the touch-screen counties, where investigators may have been more vigorously looking for such anomalies, high percentages of registered Democrats generally equaled high percentages of votes for Kerry.

14. And another point is that ...
We're not talking about the election being stolen by Republican operatives going into these states to steal the election and physically stuff ballot boxes. That's not the sort of stealing that's being talked about. When you're talking about the Diebold machines, you're talking about a couple of computer programs designed to give * an edge. It really doesn't come down to that many people at all.
