Poll question: If you were a Republican, would you be glad the election was stolen?
I'd like to see NewsMax pick up on this one.

Just to clarify the question: If you were/are a Republican and you knew that the election was stolen by your party, would you condone it?

5. I don't think that's what the poster meant.
I think he/she meant if you had the values you do, and happened to be a Republican (I know it's not possible, but it's a hypothetical question) -- would you condone an election stolen for your party?

11. Or based on the Republicans you know personally.
Would they condone such a practice? Any way you interpret the question is fine by me.

2. Yes, because, in actuality, most who claim the values...don't
actually have them. :hi:

6. If I was a Republican, I'd be horrified.
However, my value system is the reason that I'm not a Republican so if I WAS a Republican, I'd have a very different value system and who knows what I'd think?

7. A real Republican, or a Neo-con Republican?
Real Republicans are honest Americans who would be horrified and ashamed if they benefited from such a crime.

Unfortunatly they are a dying breed.

9. a Republican VOTER, no, a Republican LEADER, hells yes
Most voters don't like to see their party look bad, but the leaders, well, they don't care. They just want to win.

it no matter what the proof, thereby avoiding the whole messy issue. That's how it works in "values" land.

14. No, absolutely not.
Firs off, to be a republican does not mean to vote Bush, these days. I know several who would usually vote republican, but supported Kerry in this election, do you think they are happy Bush won? What is more, cheated?

I also talked to one guy who voted for Bush, but was still angry they resorted to this kind of underhand thing. Seems like there are people who prefer Bush to Kerry, but are of the opinion that the one who the American people *elect* should win, regardless of their own choice.

16. For me to be a Republican, I would have to have a totally different...

mindset. I would have a lack of ethics, and a tolerance for fudging facts in favor of some greater "truth", or ideological litmus test. I would have an under-siege mentality that the left is really bigger than my side, but deny that the "silent majority" agrees with them more than me...so I would feel justified that for the survival of the human race and America itself...we would have to steal the election with a prayer of "Forgive them, the liberals know not what they do."

But then again, I'm not a Republican, and really can't grasp what goes on in their minds.
