We need somebody like Howard Dean in a position of leadership to shake up the status quo and bring new ideas to the Democratic party.

GO DEAN!!!!!!!!!!

6. It'll never happen
I'd love to see it. He'd be great, but the powers that be want nothing to do with Howard. Harold Ickes, Hillary friend, will be the next DNC chair. I'll bet a quart of Vermont maple syrup on it to the first person to take me up on it.

8. I just emailed the DNC today
and threatened to not give anymore money if they didn't start posing some leadership regarding the voting injustice that's going on. Hopefully, the money ploy will work. "Money changes everything." ~Cyndi Lauper

14. I did as well
I would donate only directly to campaigns, preferably ones supported by DFA.

12. YES!
Go Howard :kick:

This would be the best thing for us. Terry McAuliffe is, IMO, the reason we lost. He and his fellow DLC'ers marginalized our liberal base, thus hurting us in the long term. We cannot win elections by trying to becoming more like Republicans. Howard Dean understands this and we need someone like him fighting for us. McAuliffe lost bad, in 2000, 2002, and 2004. I say he had his chances and his time is up.

16. Even a Clarkie could get behind that idea
He would kick all kinds of ass in that position.

Who do we call? What do we do? Point me in the right direction and I will work for it.

17. I'm a Clarkie
And I'll tell you, Dean's the man for DNC. So long as Clark's kept in as a spokesman. Dean is the guy for DNC, liberal and progressive integrity, values and getting the party back on the liberal pride. He's a good guy, and just who we need.

Clark has become better than Clinton for me. He transcends the party to a degree where I feel he truly cares for this country in a way few of us will ever see. He truly believes in the idealistic vision of a country where you can say and do what you please, but you have honesty and integrity because that's what your leaders have taught you. And no one is greedy because there's no need to be because no one bothers with saying "this is MY money" and they freely give it away for education and food for others.

Man, I love Wes Clark. But he's not the man for DNC.
