Help me out here. My ideas thus far:

You get your Christianity from the Bible, not the T.V.

You don't like to spend more than you make.

You don't like to piss in the water you will drink.

You don't like to kill people (war) to stimulate the economy.

You believe in science, thus demonstrating your cynical hatred of America.

and not some questionable apocalyptic interpretation of Christianity.

I wish that people would stop saying that people in the "red" states are voting against their interests, at least if you're referring to economic interests.

Didn't we used to be the party of ideals? Money is not as important as those rights which every American deserves? I get the feeling that a lot of very wealthy Democrats are simply confused as to how poor people could vote against taxing the rich. Well, maybe we should step back and realize that our tax policy is not the vote grabber that it possibly once was. We praise those rich democrats for voting against their own economic interests in volunteering to pay higher taxes but are stunned that lower middle class and lower class individuals might find things more important than money. What poor people can't find economic matters relatively unimportant?

The south was solidly democrat until those pesky civil righters came along and turned the south agin' us......

They are voting against peace, they are voting against clean air and clean water, they are voting against stewardship of their environment, they are voting against the good will of the world community, they are voting against justice at home and abroad --

It's not just the money in which they vote against their own interests.

before you vote and determine the direction in which the country is heading.

And you tell those you believe to be stupid that they are in fact stupid. Lost us this election.

them telling us we're immoral, America-hating communists didn't lose the election for them. Calling them stupid is mild compared to what they throw at us.

...and furthermore, some Repuke motherfucker called me a terrorist at a polling place b/c I was holding a Kerry/Edwards sign and talking about deficits and refusing to blame them all on 9/11.

If someone calls me something like that, I can't help but feel they're stupid.

But, unfortunately, we have a very big disconnect from middle America. And calling them stupid is killing us. There have to be at least some minor compromises to win over 5% of the vote.

The first time I was ever called a liberal elitist, it was said like this:

"Yer a Birkenstock wearing liberal elitist."

Duh Oh? I never figured that one out. At that time I bought my boots in the Goodwill like everyone else.
