A very high chance that the US military is about to turn on Bush

I'm not for sure when it is going to happen, but I know it is going to happen soon. The US military itself will soon be turning against Bush. It is part of a prophecy that I have heard.

Seriously, what evidence have you seen that leads you to this conclusion?

First clear sign I can give you is the troops that refused to carry out a mission before the election. Trust me though it will become clearer.

Only make a claim that can be backed up by some tangible evidence. Idle speculation starts a lot of false hope, discontent, and bad planning.

I saw the photo of the long trench with tiny bundles that used to be children and babies. Our troops did that.

Could you define "prophecy" in context to your statements?

That word manages to cover a whole spectrum, indicating anything from simple premonition to an actual tipoff from someone with concrete knowledge of events to come. I'm sure that many of us would prefer details regarding this matter.

When it comes to "just having a vague feeling," I am thinking that, regardless of the upcoming Diebold scandal, much larger things are on the event horizon; things that will make every Republican-voting American of 2004 feel dirty for their indirect involvement with.

It is the attitude and policies that will lead to this happening. There are more and more signs coming clearer everyday. It is very logical as events become clearer.

I'm inclined to believe it's the latter. The military is not going to "turn on" Bush. I was in the military as soon as this summer. I can assure you that it is nowhere close to "turning" on him.

Second, I'm incline not to believe it myself till I see it. Third, a friend of mine was a solider during the pre-election Iraq war. When he was stationed in Iraq he was connected 24/7 by IM. I never asked vital information about what was going on and I never cared about that part. A lot of troops don't believe in this war. The ones that show up on tv are hand selected by loyalty oaths. A lot of them just want to come home. This is were Bush is creating a self profiling prophecy of this happening. The longer he keeps these men in service through back-door drafting. The less they want to support. Remember most of the people think they are coming home when their term is up.

Do you have some insight or evidence as to why you think this is a "high chance", then I'd love to hear it, it's not the vibe I get from talking to my armed forces friends and relatives. They are all for * for the most part, I think it boils down to he is kicking ass (in their view).

Might as well try citing prophecy. Common sense isn't getting through to people. Logic falls on deaf ears. They don't believe their own eyes. They have forgotten their own words.

Of course, ironically, I see a lot of posts about astrology and tarot cards that are given a warmer welcome than this prophecy post.

I, too, know that it will happen, and that it will happen soon, and that it will be horrendous. How do I know this? The same way that we all do, the only difference being that some are in denial and some are not.

People are actually planning for, and arguing about, a 2006 scenario that will never arrive.
