Christians against in vitro fertilization......
The Pope has already come out against in vitro fertilization:

In an obvious reference to in vitro fertilization, the Pope spoke of "modern technologies" exploiting and profiting from "human desires that are good in themselves, such as that of wanting to become a mother and father" by acting illicitly "to induce someone to have a child 'at all costs'". The Pope cautioned that "In reality, human life can never become an 'object': from conception to natural death, the human being is the subject of inviolable rights, that even freedom must not trespass."

The Republicans have been good at hiding their wackos the past few decades and highlighting those on the left. This has helped them develop the crazy liberal narrative. We need to start pointing out some of the ludicrous ideas on the right. While entirely consistent from a moral standpoint, opposing in vitro fertilization is very different politically than opposing abortion.

2. yes, each one of those little wrigglers is a potential human life
and you should personally have fewer rights than your balls do.

Good grief. They don't hate us for our freedoms. They are laughing at us.

3. Yah. Tell the Yuppies they have to adopt
From the ignorant teenagers who won't be allowed to have abortions.

Lovely. Just lovely.

5. Did adopt ...
oh, yeah, I was older and ... I'm no Republican Yuppie.

But, as you guys know, this has always been my complaint. They tell drug-addicted mothers that they must carry their pregnancy to term, and then they get busy killing programs that might help adoption (defunding them).

Their level of hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me.

6. To me it points out how adept the Repugs are at picking
social issues to emphasize. Abortion is so remote for most people that it is easy to be against abortion. On the other hand almost every one knows someone who has had trouble conceiving. Opposing in vitro would cost a lot of votes, even though it is the exact same religious principle as opposition to abortion.
