The party's silence about the election is as deafening as in 2000.
And just as painful. I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I am a realist. Something was very wrong in 2000, and something is very wrong now. We don't know what it is, but there are many examples, enough to investigate.

We either fix it or we lose our democracy, right now, today.

They had a chance to vote for paper ballot auditing....they ignored it.

They had 4 years to fix it to be sure, they didn't.

Thank you, Randi.
Thank you, Nader.
Thank you, Keith O.

And no thanks at all to Al Franken, who refuses to pay attention. I turned him off today...will not listen for a while. Too painful to hear him make light of our voting system.

Nothing will be done, ever. More states will be buying the touch screen with no way to count.

This time we knew to expect it, we knew about the role of the exit polls, and we still are silent.

1. Franken is wasting valuable air time. Randi and Ed do their share...
as well as Malloy. We need a REAL LEFT WING RUSH Limbaugh to counter the Rethuglinazis and Franken CANNOT DO IT!

2. Yes, I forgot Malloy. I love him.
He and Randi are doing a good job.

3. Franken and his cohort have lost ALL of my respect.
I won't even pretend I find him funny anymore - I'm gonna switch to Sirius Left when he's on from now on.

5. Cheer up
I e-mailed Russ Feingold earlier today. I told him that the e-voting mess has to be changed or we will never be able to have confidence in the electoral process again.

AND..........

Just ot be on the safe side I e-mailed our local assembly person and State Senator (both of whom I worked for) and asked them to review STATE LAWS concerning electronic voting and to take action to assure recounts from PAPER ballots is possible.

I'm not sure we can win the battle for this election but I'll work like hell to make sure it never happens again......hopefully we'll clean it up before 2006.

Pick myself up. Scrape the dirt off my face. Start all over again.

6. Switch to Thom Hartman - he's been on vote fraud since 2000
He's not funny, but I listen to him to keep my sanity. I used to listen to Al in the morning and download Thom for evening listening, but now I listen to Thom in the morning and Mike Malloy in the evening.

I say choose reality. And another thing. THe people who are considering vote fraud are the FIGHTERS, the people who say how can we change (move right to get the votes) are the WHINERS.

Sorry for yelling. Must be the Malloy influence. ;)

7. I consider this problem our only problem right now.
I can not call my congressmen or legislators....they do NOT CARE. They do not HAVE to care. Where is Graham....will Nelson speak out?

Adam Putnam is in Bush's pocket.

Again, I have no one to contact who really cares at all.

9. Well, a lot here say we should give it up and let it go.
I say it is our last chance to fix the voting system.

However, there has been great activism here. I did forget to include.

10. Skinner talked to someone in the campaign - little hope of unconceding

Sad to say but it seems they feel there aren't enough misvotes in our favor to warrant unconceding, but their attorneys are looking at the votergate issues.
