1. Revoting or revolting? ;)
Seriously, I don't know. Right now, I'm just looking to stir up enough doubt about the election that people will at least think twice about * and maybe the Dems in Congress will feel a little more emboldened to not rubber stamp everything the Chimp wants to do.

2. Depends on the Reason
but you raise a good point. Unless they're all due to counting errors which can be detected and fixed, probably not.

The first recourse, of course, is a recount. That presumes that recounting the votes can weed out the fraud. If ballot boxes have been stuffed, however, they'll be counting bad ballots along with good. And in evoting counties, they can't recount at all.

A revote is extremely difficult to get. That's one reason voter fraud so often works.

3. I agree.
revolt? Why should they be any more pissed if this were to turn around than we've been since the coronation of 2000?

I hope and pray that the provisionals and absentees make it so close in Ohio that it's a statistical tie. Only then can we force them to request a recount. Only then will this talk of a mandate stop. Only then will it be politically expedient to look at the reliability of the vote count.

Only then will our Dems in Congress show some backbone. BTW, this is the same infamous lack of backbone that rubber stamped the authorization for Iraq. that worked out really well.

God Bless America.

4. Most OH counties have ES/S with Punch Cards. Recount.
Of course all of Ohio should be recounted and surely votes will be found especially in strongholds like Cuyahoga.

But I think the real fraud Mother Lode is Florida. Kerry should have won FL; winning in OH was a real stretch with all the fundies coming out of the bushes (into the bushes).

5. Florida Fraud
Edited on Tue Nov-09-04 05:18 PM by Winamericaback
I'm sure there was SOME FL fraud but its not what Olberman said. I did the resarch, I followed voter trends for the past 12 years and those counties have consistently voted republican.

I think there was fraud with the touch screens in South Florida and the counting of the absentee ballots but I don't think it is enough to overturn the results here in FL. Trust me I wish it was, but getting a recount in FL is going to be 3 times as hard as Ohio. Glenda Hood is a RIGHT WING Republican, She was the Mayor of Orlando and was a putz then, even some Florida Republicans think shes a little too right winged.. she has her sights set on congress. She will do everything she can to become Katherine Harris Part II

Concentrate on Ohio, if we can get something going there then I think Fl requires a look.

6. Sure, the votes can be fixed; the election was!
Just contact your nearest Republican representative and put in a request for "vote balancing."

They'll put someone on the job.
