Kerry in 2008
The Washington Post is reporting that Kerry may be considering a run for President in 2008. I think he should allow someone else to run in 2008.

4. If there is strong evidence for fraud,
and it appears to be mounting up, Kerry needs to fight THIS election.

2008? Forgedaboutit!

Doesn't matter WHO runs against GOP in 2008 if the apparent fraud in THIS election is not challenged.

6. I don't think so
The reality for many Americans is that they are left wondering if their vote counted once again. Everyone here has seen the evidence that something went wrong in our election. I don’t just mean the fact that we lost. What I am talking about are all the flaws that are mounting daily and pointing to what may well be fraud. Even if we cannot prove fraud it still shows that many peoples voices were not heard. We supported a man that was going to fight for our every vote. Unless that is what he is doing behind closed doors out of the political eye, he has lost my support. To be honest it appears that he is not active and we the voter must fight for our rights alone.

10. I won't vote for him again.
He couldn't even show enough respect for to voters to wait until all the votes had been counted. He allowed Bush Corporation to stampede him instead of standing his ground. That tells me everything that I need to know about him.

23. 'Nuf said
He said in the Senate he plans to be the anti-Bush and stay visible, he's got some serious atonement to do if he plans on getting my vote in '08 IF he gets the nod in the first place for failing to stand his ground and fight.

12. There's a negative connotation and stigma associated ...
... with a run for the POTUS and not making it that unfortunately cast an image of a loser

... I think we should be looking forward and ahead for new blood

13. Well, maybe he's seriously considering a run in 2008,

and maybe he isn't. I'm not going to believe it until I hear his concession speech.

17. I'll Tell You This
Edited on Tue Nov-09-04 07:41 PM by Greylyn58
I like John Kerry. I think he is an honest man and I liked and agreed with all his ideas. I really wanted to see him institute his programs and fix the ills we're suffering. I was proud to vote for him.

But if he doesn't stand up and help us fight what is happening, I can't see myself voting for him in 2008. Because if he won't fight now, he's not gonna fight in the future if we suffer through this again.

We need to fix the voting problems now or it's not going to matter who runs in 2008 because we still won't win.

19. I'm probably off in a fantasy land, but this year's election isn't ove yet
Yeah, I know, we'd need a whole bunch of courts to declare that this election was stolen. But at least let me indulge my fantasy for another week or two.
