Did anyone see Keith Olbermann on MSNBC tonight???
Almost the whole show was about finding out the truth about the election....and I don't thing he said crazy or conspiracy theory one time. They are really investigating this....and saying they will continue to. I think we should all e-mail our support to MSNBC and Keith....here is a link:

<http://www.congress.org/congressorg/dbq/media/?command=org_pages&org_id=558>

Let's let them know we think they are doing a great job at fighting for democracy.

2. Keith is doing an excellent job.
He also is desperately trying to make others in the media pay attention. Props to Olbermann!

4. And one part of it is that he's naming names re other media
who are NOT covering it, or covering it "dismissively," as he rightly characterized ABC's coverage tonight.

Go get 'em, Keith!

3. Bless that man.
You know he has balls the size of Brunswicks. Also, someone within his news editorial department knows that this story has legs.

A rare show of journalistic courage.

Keep injecting the meme.

5. He's the onl;y one giving it real respect
I'm new here, but have been following this board since Black Tuesday, the board is the only thing keeping me going...it does seem like its dragging along, but its worth it all if the truth is exposed. I am a new fan of KO's Countdown, he's the only one giving this story the respect and attention it deserves. I do believe work is being done behind the scenes, I'm amazed at the almost no response by people you would expect to at least make a statement, there's too much smoke here for it all to end. We all need to be patient and persevere.

well, at least another 4 years. We'll all get thru this nightmare together and someday the clock will tick and we will be rid of Bush and his ilk - that is until Jeb is ready to run. Oy ve.

31. AAR -- airamericaradio is hitting the election fraud issue
http://www.airamericaradio.com

Specifically -- Randi Rhodes -- 4 hours -- online and in many radio markets in the US.

The majority Report with Janeana and Sam -- following Randi Rhodes -- 7 pm eastern time until the Mike Malloy show
http://www.majorityreportradio.com/weblog/index.php

Mike Malloy -- 10 to 1 am -- he's been hitting the election fraud every night.

on the weekend -- Laura Flanders -- AAR

Then there is Mike Webb -- west coast time 10-1am (1-4 east coast time). Mike Webb is on Seattle 710 KIRO he streams on the Internet at http://www.mikewebb.org/

But this seems to be the extent of media coverage -- outside of the subject of this thread.

The above people on Air America are really hitting the vote fraud loud and hard -- they are PISSED

9. Yes, blast your congress representatives as well as state
you can find all of their emails on the Internet.

You need to blast all of your representatives for election methodology
reform.

I vote for the Oregon system. It's entirely mail in, optical scanners,
but a paper trail due to the paper ballot.

The reason I like it is there is no way to use long lines, lack of voting booths, precinct locations, etc. to supress the vote.

Also, it's great because you can really did through the issues and investigate if you're not sure about something. The way many ballot
measures are written, this really pays to read up and getting the ballot
in your hand gives more incentive (although clearly oregonians
didn't do as much as they should have!)

Still it's much more fair to anyone working, which many people are, 7 days a week, 10 hrs a day to make ends meet.

How many people left the voting lines simply because there was no way
they could afford that amount of time?

12. I wrote Olbermann and
I wrote his bosses the following note:

"I am writing to support Keith Olbermann's reports on voter irregularities.

I think many people are missing the point. It's not about who won. It's about the American people's ability to trust the process. If we cannot trust the process then we, as a nation, have no stake in the future of our country. And with that attitude comes much unrest and resistance.

Thank you for hosting Mr. Olbermann and thank you for letting him search for the truth."

If MSNBC gets strokes they are likely to encourage other reporters to follow suit. So when you write Olbermann, be sure to go back and write the folks concerned about the mundane things like sponsorship and viewer support.

19. I'm willing to do all I can to get to the truth.
I don't have a magic ball....it will be hard to ignore over 16,000 names on a petition though. I'm not forcing anyone to sign the petition....I'm just putting it out there so people know about it. There is also another site that will send an auto e-mail to your state representatives <http://www.workingforchange.com/activism/action.cfm?itemid=18056>, this may be something you would be interested in instead of the petition.
I did both....because I think it is so important that the truth be told. Can one person make a difference....maybe not, but that is why we need to get this information out. I welcome any and all ways to find the truth, and I will continue to make DU aware of any way that members can make a difference. Many people don't want to give up just yet....and I am one of them.

26. I sent this
Please keep on the election fraud stories! In the absence of anyone standing up for ethics in the government, it's up to the people to put a stop to auditless voting. And with the media blackout, it's hard to inform the general public. No matter who ends up winning the election, people need to know the election system itself is in a shambles.

Thanks for shining the light on this.

------------------
I'm liking the phrase "no matter who ends up winning", if I do say so myself. It sounds open minded, not like I'm doing this to overturn the election, but also it's clear I have no reason right now to believe Bush won. I'm going to use that in some LTTEs.

28. I wrote Oberman as well. He might not like it.
Thank you for turning media attention to the voting fraud. I believe it IS fraud, whether or not that can be proven in a court of law.

I believe our Democracy is now dead. JFK made it plain enough: "Those who make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable" and we all know what happened to him for his insight.

By the way, I NO LOGER WATCH TELEVISION--not even your show. I did see this on the web, though. That is where I get all my information now. I have come to HATE TELEVISION. I am not buying the corporate spit and polish so called "reality" that you people are selling--and this is coming from a 56 year old man who grew up with TV and was completely addicted to it. Now I see it as nothing more than mind control.

30. Glad to see Keith working on this story
I just refuse to accept as legal any e-vote machine that does not produce a physical record that can be easily read for a vote audit or recount. Since the machines did not have this function why were they allowed in polling places across America the first place? And how could Diebold overlook the importance of needing a paper record of the votes recorded? It's just all too convienent. Go Keith.
