Anyone seen Richard Butler?

-the Australian weapons inspector that was the biggest pro-Bush-Iraq-war-Cheerleader, who hasn't been seen since '03? Anyone?

1. He didn't quite disappear, but then he did....

He was made Governor of Tasmania, but his style didn't really fit, so he was given a rather large sum of money to piss off. I don't think anyone here has heard from him since.

Thanks.
He did disappear after making all those assured WMD claims for the Bush administration on every network known to man. Then, he vanished without a trace after he realized how dreadfully wrong he was. I think he should be called to task for being a puppet. I fear he probably will....He should.....

which is not the same as being a governor in the USA. It's a ceremonial position mainly, where they give you a mansion, staff and a limo to drive around in whilst you "open" things like war memorials and schools.

Butler resigned from the post earlier this year because he was forced out by the people of Tasmania. He was insulting and generally not a nice guy. So he's basically a nothing now.
