I have heard this at least twice in recent days once on NPR.
Never mind the loss of animal habitat or the way of life for native people. The weather problems are no big deal.
Global warming is getting rid of the pack ice making it easier for shipping and commerce. Drill those northern oil wells and ship it out. Also, Russia has always dreamed of warm weather ports a real boost.
Let's invest in Russian shipping. This is also Halliburton heaven.
