7. It shows a helluva lot more than that!!
It shows that Bush got every single repuke voter, every independent voter, and good portion of dem voters - even in dem strangleholds. This is absolute bullshit - that implies that massive fraud took place in N.M.!!

:puke:

3. These numbers are rather interesting.
I think that even more than the +100% Republican turnout is the 4.36% total turnout in Sandoval County. Even if it were very rural, it should still have a higher turnout. I'm not familiar with registration practices in New Mexico, but this does look odd.

That is the excuse they are using in Florida, so why not here. Must have been all those that left after our 4 hurricanes.

5. Worth looking at, but...

Keep in mind that those numbers over 100% don't mean that there were "extra" votes counted....those numbers only mean that registered democrats and independents voted republican, so that the republicans got more votes than would be expected if there was a party line vote. In most of those counties, the same thing happened in 2000. Don't know about the numbers before that. Could be another dixiecrat sort of phenomenion.

Having said that, the swing to republicans was strikingly huge in some cases. There are also a couple of counties that went to Gore in 2000, but switched quite strongly to Bush this time. There are also appallingly low turnouts in some cases. All of this is worth looking at more closely, but it's important to consider the data in light of the pattern in past elections. Taken alone, those percentages aren't damning.

9. It's like the biblical story
Where Jesus starts with a fish and a loaf of bread and feeds a crowd.

And they say we're Godless ;)

14. Before the election
there was a poll that stated that 13-17% of republicans planned on voting for Kerry, while only 5-7% of all Democrats planned on voting for *. The election had to be rigged. The repugs will to ANYTHING to maintain power, and electronic systems are easy to hack.
