and they are outraged about a few posts here, out of many. They have reported us to homeland security, the IRS, the FBI, and who knows who else.

I don't think he'll be pleased.

Why is it that any signs of Democratic strength can be construed as anti-American, unpatriotic and subversive to these people?

They are so saturated with political venom; so deluded by their party's leaders, that they believe in using authoritative force, rather than reason, to deal with their opponents.

Thats why all Democrats need to rethink their 2nd Amendment stance. All of us should be armed and know how to use them, and become knowledgable in them. I know it sounds extreme, butthe right wing is armed to teeth and people better start considering that Savage gets six to ten million listeners a night, and he is calling for mass arrests of "filthy liberal traitors", and he stops just short of calling for his followers to kill us. If fascism does come, we may have to actually defend democracy itself and ourselves.

Following your logic, you are essentially saying that we should just stand there and get gassed, just give up. Also, outnumbered armed populations have beat their oppressors all thru history, and the Jews, faced with extermination, could have done the same. I doubt if you will find any Jew that would in retrospect agree with the idea that not resisting was the correct course of action. You may die either way, but if you die resisting your children might live. Otherwise you get to go to the gas chamber together, as any photo of Dachau will attest.

If your a leftist, get a gun and learn how to use it. No one says you have to shoot anybody, and I am not advocating initiating any violence. But there are powerful forces, organized forces, that are advocating violence against us. Perhaps the Jews of 1932 should have listened to Hitler a little more closely. We certainly should. The right is becoming frighteningly organized more and more like the Nazis. They have built a propaganda system that Goebbels would be proud of that use his techniques, they have fanatic legions of brown shirts that would find violence against us acceptable and enjoyable, and they are degenerating into Fuhrer worship. They are now using the system they created to manipulate elections thru fear, just like the Nazis did with the Reichstag fire, but they will not have to eliminate elections like the Nazis did, because the "War on Terror", a war without end, is their permanent Reichstag fire.

Less gun control was one of the key points of the Nazi political platform prior to them seizing power. The Nazi gun law was far less restrictive than the older Democratic law.

The greatest hypocrisy being - the importance of saving a fetus, giving birth, raising-nurturing-loving the child until they are old enough to go off to war - to a campaign in the PERPETUAL wars - as wars will come to be known under the plan of Cheney and the PNAC. Soldier fodder.

The disconnect is mind boggling. But not to people who think there will always be war or there always HAS to be a war.
