A planeload of K-Y jelly arrived in advance of the meeting earlier in the day.

It doesn't even have to be true! Bush has been known to have fits over rumours (remember when he freaked out because Al Hunt had quoted GOP insiders as saying they wanted someone other than GHWB in 1988).
