1. 8+ members of my family and friends... all were turned
3 of them turned others. All one has to do is LOOK at the issue to be concerned - liberals or regressives.

4. since 1999
I warned people in email and conversations starting in 1999 that this bunch would stop at nothing and had a totalitarian agenda all planned for the country. Stolen elections was one of the things I warned people about then. Reichstag fire type excuses for suspending civil liberties was another. War in the Middle East, and one party rule were also visible on the horizon back then.

They have never kept their plans secret, especially, so I get no great credit for anything brilliant. They relied on the people's infinite capacity for denial and self-delusuion when the truth is uncomfortable.

I was surprised that people could not see - or would not see - that all of the ingredients for fascism were coalescing during Clinton's presidency. Dominionsism plus corporatism plus militarism. That is the formula for tyranny.

When I see someone throw eggs and flour into a bowl and start mixing furiously while the oven warms, I am never surprised to see a cake appear later in the day. I would not, for example, expect to see a live chicken result from this. Nor would I suspend trust in my own observations and common sense if Chris Matthews told me that it was not possible for a cake to appear.

We are obliged at this time to struggle, with all the Powers with which the Constitution hath furnished us, in Defence of our Rights; to prevent the most valuable of our Liberties from being wrested from us, by the subtle Machinations, and daring Encroachments of wicked Ministers. - Sam Adams 1771

5. I did
I sent an article that was about how 80% of the vote (between electronic voting machines and electronic scanners of paper ballots) would be counted by two brothers' companies, both brothers being big Bush supporters.

I sent it and posted it several places.
