13. no, I don't think so. Was hot earlier but now that the furnace is
off for the night I am ok. Except for my face which still feels a bit warm on the inside, if that makes any sense at all. *l*

11. It could be. I am enough of a tin foil hatter to at least
be suspicious of them. Wonder if they own any MSG plants?

15. Try some ginger tea
It works really really well on nausea, and works on the sniffles and aches and pains pretty well too. It sounds like you've got some kind of a bug. Ooohh stomach flu is so bad. I hope you feel better soon. Thankfully most of these stomach bugs are short-lived.

(to make ginger tea, put a couple of quarter sized slices of fresh ginger in a pan with some simmering water and let it simmer for about 5 minutes add a tea bag and let it steep; sweeten with honey --- really does work wonders!

16. Don't have any fresh ginger. Is ground ok? Also have peppermint
tea bags around here, but they are from the last time I had morning sickness, oh.. 5 years or so ago. *lol*

22. try taking about a quarter teaspoonful
and wash it down with some of that peppermint tea (don't steep it very long, because it can relax the muscles in the esophagus which can cause reflux, which you don't want, but weak should help with the nausea some).

It works best if the ginger is fresh. Dried ginger can work, but don't try putting it in the tea, just take it straight and wash it down. Do it carefully or the graininess might initiate the gag reflex. Ginger is a very useful herb, in double-blind studies it's worked for motion sickness as well as dramamine.

Here's hoping you feel better soon.

19. No. :^( I know I should though. The upside to this is that
this trailer is like swiss cheese. Hard to keep the heat in, but noxious gasses don't stick around long either.

21. 1/2 part apple juice -- 1/2 part water on ice /sipped
This will restore you to non-hurl territory.

My kid was dehydrated from the flu years ago and the Dr at the hospital told us to have her drink the above.

It works better than coke, ginger ale and whatever else--try it.

(It also works wonders for hangovers)
