Surely we are in the dark ages of our times!
Edited on Fri Nov-12-04 04:48 AM by themartyred
1st - Did you know several journalists are about to be sent to prison for NOT divulging their sources, by judges appointed by Ronald Reagan? Of course, in all the cases they're trying to find out who blabbed and told the reporters things they don't want the public to know. No big deal, just 1st ammendment rights at stake is all! (biggest is the Plame-CIA leak)

2nd - if someone doubts Bush flipped off the female producer on TV -http://media.texansfortruth.org/bushuncensored.mov

3rd - if you want to watch the Bush video where the NY Republican Congressman says, that the election's over and all that's left to do is the counting, and "we'll do the counting!", in 2003. look at this one! - http://homepage.mac.com/duffyb/nobush/iMovieTheater256.html

4th - on CNN Jerry Falwell showed why thousands are going TO Iraq to fight our soldiers --- JACKSON: Let's stop the killing and choose peace. Let's choose negotiation over confrontation.
FALWELL: Well, I'm for that too. But you've got to kill the terrorists before the killing stops. And I'm for the president to chase them all over the world. If it takes 10 years, blow them all away in the name of the Lord!

(Does the quote, "vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord" mean anything to him, let ALONE humility & proper speaking for a "Reverend"? Just like Bush asking them to "Bring It on!" last year!)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is interesting, and it's a compiled list of things you must believe for Bush to have won fairly --- --- ---

To believe that Bush won the election, you must also believe: That the exit polls were wrong in the states that decided this election, but somehow were correct, as exit polls have proven to be, in the states that were not going to be in question (like Georgia) on election day; that master pollster John Zogby's 5pm election day calls for Kerry winning Ohio and Florida were wrong (he was exactly right in his 2000 final poll); that polling company, Harris' last-minute polling for Kerry was wrong; that "incumbent rule #1" – undecideds break for the challenger - was wrong; That the "50% rule" – in which an incumbent doesn't do better than his final polling - was wrong; That the "approval rating rule" – an incumbent with less than 50% approval will most likely lose the election – was wrong; that it was just a coincidence that the exit polls were correct where there was a paper trail and incorrect (+5% for Bush!) where there was no paper trail; that the surge in new young voters had no positive effect for Kerry in swing states where youth voting was very high, despite long lines and record youth voting; that Kerry did worse than Gore against an opponent who lost the support of scores of Republican newspapers who were for Bush in 2000 (by a huge circulation victory for Kerry), and even the "Conservative Times" magazine backed Kerry; that the reports of Warren County, in Ohio, who closed their vote counting to outsiders because of a unfounded terror threat (FBI says never told them that, as County officials claimed), did nothing illegal as one of the last counties to be counting votes in Ohio, as Bush gained a few more thousand vote lead over Kerry making it near impossible for the provisional ballots to matter, once counted, that 4,000 extra votes for Bush in a Gahanna precinct, where only 600 votes were on the register, was just a mistake, along with the other mistakes that just happened to go Bush's way, and that voting machines made by Republicans with no paper trail and with no software publication, which have been proven by thousands of computer scientists to be vulnerable in scores of ways, were not tampered with in this election. Even though the CEO of Diebold was even quoted that they were going to do everything they could to "guarantee" a Bush victory in, no less than - you guessed it - OHIO!

Palm Beach County Logs 88,000 More Votes Than Voters

Theresa LePore has journalist arrested, tackled for photographing voters outside Florida precinct (SF Bay Area Indymedia News)

58,000 Absentee Ballots Missing in Florida - Incorrect postage said to be the culprit in Lepore's County (The dreaded 2000-Butterfly Ballot lady of Palm Beach strikes again! Did you know Theresa Lepore got her job by Jeb's own doings? The Democrat who held the job in the heavily Democratic county was pushed out and she was inserted!)

1. Here's the link for the journalist probems!
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/11/10/opinion/10kris.html

But now similar abuses are about to unfold within the United States, part of an alarming new pattern of assault on American freedom of the press. In the last few months, three different U.S. federal judges, each appointed by President Ronald Reagan, have found a total of eight journalists in contempt of court for refusing to reveal confidential sources, and the first of them may go to prison before the year is out. Some of the rest may be in prison by spring.

The first reporter likely to go to jail is Jim Taricani, a television reporter for the NBC station in Providence, R.I. Mr. Taricani obtained and broadcast, completely legally, a videotape of a city official as he accepted an envelope full of cash.

4. He probably has them over a barrel, threatening he's gonna tell
if they come one step closer to throwing his dusty old hide in the slammer. They probably understand there'd be a prison riot if the inmates learned who was joining them.
