Why did CNN add "moral values" to 2004 "issues" exit polling?
And to top it off, 2004 exit poll indicates information is not available (n/a) for 2000. Not true. It is available, but does not include the issue of "moral values." Interesting, The 2004 issues exit polling does not include Social Security and Prescription Drugs, and evidently drops "world affairs" and adds "terrorism" and "Iraq." In 2000, the number one "issue" was "economy/jobs" at 18%--the same percentage it received in 2004!

You have to ask yourself, why CNN added "moral values" to the "issues" question and then pretended it had not polled the "issues" question in 2000. What is going on here? This information was indeed available. Link to 2000 exit polling is right here:

2. Another key question is: If the exit polling re presidential election...
was flawed and that's why we are to discount them then why is CNN using those same exit polls to tout the values question and reporting them as accurate? CNN is proving that their own reporting is not credible!

3. You don't even need Karl Rove for this one
Gay marriage legal in Massachussetts? Rosie O'Donnell taking the plunge in SF? SCOTUS essentially scuttling most Federal anti-gay legislation? Unfair or not, it's been plotted as a trend. If Rove didn't jump on it, Falwell and Robertson would - possibly with a secret payoff to Fred Phelps to help stir the pot.

5. My first guess
is because the RW fundie gestapo is planning to legislate "moral values". Eleven states had gay marriage bans on the ballots.

The LAST people on the planet that should be allowed to define 'morality' are the very ones trying to do it! :scared:

Remember the fiasco at the '92 RNC when the fundies got hold of the microphone and scared the daylights out of everybody? Many say that was one of the bigger stumbling blocks to GHWB's re-election.

I surmise they're trying to promote the false belief that the majority of people in this country want the fundies to legislate morality, that they'd welcome it, and won't raise a stink when they start stomping on our Constitutional rights.

Why didn't this huge and unusual trend come out before the election if it was on the up and up?

7. If the vote results were gamed, who's to believe these poll
results. Screw the Right and their "moral values". Stealing democracy is as immoral as anything I can imagine.
