I did some checking on these people and they appear to be legit, and appear to have nothing to do with the US Government.

Because I was skeptical, I consulted Uncle Bobby. "Yeah, you do your checking then you roll the dice. Worst case, you get taken advantage of for being a good guy. Best case, you make a big difference in someone's life," he said.

Love that Uncle Bobby. ;-)
