About Bobby Kennedy, Jr...
I just heard him on AAR and have a delicate question. Why is his voice always so quavery? Does he have a medical condition that causes this? I've heard it every time he speaks for the last few years, but never seen it talked about.
I know, it's a weird question, but I was just wondering.

If you are an NPR listener you may notice the similarity with Diane Rehm's voice (she also suffers from this condition).

5. in case you didn't know
He has the same problem that Dianne Rehm does, it affects the vocal cords and makes you sound like you are going to cry. Of course all of us now sound like that so he is our leader!(not funny, eh?)

7. He has a neurological condition impacting the vocal cords...
known as spasmodic dysphonia. He gets botox injections into the vocal cords to treat (symptomatically).

Diane Rehms of NPR also suffers from this condition.

It is NOT emotion, nor Parkinson's-related tremors.

9. His grandmother Rose sounded the same way.
I wonder if she had the same condition.
