i read earlier that our wounded soldiers need calling cards..
are there any other items needed and or organizations that sponsor sending things to our folks in uniform? I work for a school district and would love to be able to get folks together to send the soldiers things for the holidays.

1. I will send stuff but not for soldiers ...
But for the ones who really need it...Iraqi children... the soldiers have families who can provide with presents, but who will provide for Iraqi civilians...????? No body??>..

5. With all due respect
so many of those soliders joined the military because their families have no money and that was the only way to get an eduction paid for and the best way out of poverty.

I do take your point and agree that the Iraqi children could use some joy from the Americans for a change.
