We need a graphics DU forum!

All you graphic artists out there--let's ask for a graphics forum so we can sometimes get together and talk about the best ways to create graphics, how to manipulate other graphics, and in general talk about what kind of graphics we can and should create to give to other DU members for sigs and other stuff!

It doesn't matter if you're a Photoshop expert, someone who uses Paint Shop Pro, or any other graphics program out there--we could even have tutorials on creating brushes, tubes, etc.

Anyone interested, please post to this thread. We need a good amount to push for this. Thanks!

The Graphics DU Forum is for graphic artists who enjoy designing, manipulating or dreaming up digital art to share with other DU members. A portion of the art will be political, to encourage artists to share their ideas with other DU members, for distribution as sigs, icons, and for other websites. There will be graphics help available for those who want to get involved but don't yet have the experience, as well as tutorials available on some subjects, beyond the political arena.

Artists will be encouraged to display their work, political or otherwise, as well as exchange fonts, tubes, brushes, and other available resources at their disposal.

Non-artists are welcome, to talk about graphics they would like to see created, and possibly encourage the artists to create such items as a result of discussion.

Once in awhile, a contest might be run, either for created graphics, photos, or other digital creations, and might be either politically or non-politically based.

All creations by the artists will remain their property, but they should be willing to allow other people to share those creations widely, as long as a copyright watermark is intact on the art.

I do pencil and charcoal drawings, Photoshop, Poser, and some other random things like latex masks and costume prosthetics.

We need one or two more starred people to agree with it!
