2. Court TV is showing the crowd outside
I've never been more ashamed to be a member of the human race (and the American people specifically)

These people are pathetic.

5. why, what are they doing?
Please share with the cubicle rats with no tv. :)

But I will take a guess: are they acting like they're tailgating at the superbowl and their team just won/lost?

8. You nailed it.
Giggling and giving the thumbs up.

I just saw someone doing the Arsenio hand pump. I want to reach through my TV screen and strangle them to death.

11. That's how a lot of them view the presidential race as well
like a sporting event. I'm sure.

Everything is entertainment nowadays.

13. We were watching in a coworkers office and someone
asked if they could find anyone who disagreed with the verdict.
I said that one person in the crowd yelled out that Scott was innocent & the rest of the crowd beat them to death.
It kinda reminds me of the sickos that come out with their signs & party merrily when someone is about to be executed.

7. This thing will drag on for years
:(

Dismissal of the jjurors gives them good grounds for appeal and it will probably be overturned.

:(

Damn, this shit never oges away.

14. That will depend on if the jurors followed the judge's instructions
You can't just say, I'm not convicting because I don't want to. It has to be based on what was presented in court. If the juror wasn't doing that, she was dismissed rightfully.

:headbang:

16. The problem is, there was room for reasonable doubt
The standard is tenuous at best and there was no conclusive evidence presented.

I'm especially suspicious of the dismissal of the man who was both an attorney and a physician.

9. That takes some of the shine off of atty. Gerago's star.
I never figured out why he took the case when he had been interviewed on TV previously saying he thought Scott was the murderer.

10. I knew

when they let the doc/attorney (foreman) go yesterday, Scott would be doomed. They probably were
the lone voice of reason....wanting to examine all the testimony and facts. Not a good day for those who believe
in innocent until proven guilty.

12. Wow , Somebody beside myself that doesn't think
they actually proved anything. It makes me sick how so many people just"know" he is guilty. I don't "know" either way.

15. Yes, we're definitely outnumbered

and so was the doc. This is really scary! The State did not prove its case and everyone is
glad stepping because they just know he did it.... with everything going on now in this Country now,
I am a little shocked at the opines here...

and it won't be the last. Glance around .There seem to be a couple of others who agree with us!
