A Very Funny Wingnut Quote...
Edited on Fri Nov-12-04 04:38 PM by No Mandate Here.
I live on the edges of coverage for WYEP-FM, a progressive station in Pittsburgh, who shares a frquency with a religious wingie station in Grantsville Maryland., I very much enjoy the dichotomy of what happens on each station when I drive and fuzz between the two. It is usually very amusing, but NOTHING comes close to what I heard today.

Every afternoon, there is a talk and call-in show called Point of View. I think it is a syndicated show, so others may have heard this, as well.

Today's discussion that fuzzed into focus was about pornography and being addicted to it. (Are there experts there?) A woman had called and she was discussing her husband, who is a 'recovering sex addict', who "... looks at women in church". I listened along and began to laugh out loud when she said,

"Being a sex addict is the drug of choice in most congregations."

She went on for a minute or two more, and the host stopped her and began saying that it was very good that she was helping her husband recover from his addiction. I think she went too far even for the winger host.
