We need a DU group for parenting.

But I'm not the right person to propose it because I lurk more than I post. Perhaps if someone out there is interested, you could take this idea and run with it? It would be nice to have a place here at DU to commiserate with other Dem parents in these difficult times. And to share those amusing stories about things our kids say about "that funny man on TV who drinks water from an empty glass and makes all of those funny faces." DUers with no children roll their eyes when we breeders post that kinda stuff, you know.

Just a thought.

I used to go to another web site to talk parenting but it got taken over by right wingers. I knew it was bad when they started recommending James Dobson books! :puke: I'd much rather talk parenting with other liberals.

I would really like to see something like this. I have a 2 year old and would not use the Dobson books to wipe her tush.
