SOMEONE CAME THROUGH -- SHE'S SAVING DEMOCRACY!!!

Oh, heavens. I need to stop crying!

An extremely wonderful woman by the last name of "Grace" has contacted the Nader campaign, and promised to cover any money for recounts that isn't raised by donations to www.votenader.org -- this woman is MY HERO!!!

The Nader people are now happy and confident they aren't going to get bent over by the bills, and I'm happy because we're getting the recount, and hopefully everyone else is happy because democracy is either going to be verified or fixed....

I need to stop crying. :)

I just wish there was someway to get someone in Florida to coordinate an effort to see how many people voted by absentee ballot in one county, while voting in person in another.

I hate to be cynical, but I wouldn't suspend your efforts to continue raising money until you have a check in hand. It's not beyond the realm of possibility for someone to sabotage a fundraising effort by making it seem like the goal has been met and then not following through.

I am so low income some people wonder how I get by, and I sent $10.00 to Nader for the recount.

I've always said that the Biblical thing about it being easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into Heaven, was meant to be gender specific, and does not necessarily apply to rich women. Here's another great example!

I could be wrong, but my guess is that this woman is not one of the world's richest people, and that her donation is as great a sacrifice for her as mine was for me.

When Olberman talked about you last night, I was so proud of you and this website. Individually, we can't always make the difference we would like to but as a group we are very powerful.
