in order to have Astrology included as a new group, 10 people have to agree to a "mission" statement, and kind of sign on to have Astrology
included as a "Group"
We used to meet in " Meeting Room" but Meeting Room is gone ( I wonder what happened to all those threads ?)
Anyway, here is a proposed mission statement and any of the astrologers who want to sign on (as well as astrology buffs) can make suggestions to make it better.
Welcome to the Astrology & Metaphysics Group
This group is for Astrology buffs, Professionals, and those practicing or interested in positive metaphysical thought and "studies". Astrology and Metaphysics can be traced back to the earliest civilizatons including Chaldea, Greece,
Rome, and Egypt . Today, every newspaper carries an "astrology column" and more than 60% of the American populus admit to following their daily horoscopes. There are many branches of astrology such as political, mundane, horary, natal, predictive, Western and Vedic . Discussion of current transits, eclipses, events and practice of any branch is welcome, although personal horoscopes will not be done by the visiting astrologers on line in this Discussion group.
This group is intended as a positive place for those who are interested in, or practice astrology and metaphysics to share and learn from each other and is not intended as a place to argue the merits of astrology, new age thought, or metaphysics.
I kind of copied the format Elad had written for the new Vegan Group.
Once ten have signed on for interest, we can submit this in "Groups"
and ask to have our own community...WAHOO. Finally. :) :hi:
