Hi I'm new... And am finally able to post on my own

First off let me welcome myself. Hi. And then I'd like to say I came here because I was banned at Hannity's messageboard for saying something about a Republican. You see he had been saying nasty things about Muslims along the lines of "We should kill them all." Kind of like Coulter. Then he posted an article about some boys from Afghanistan who had gotten an opportunity through some US Government exchange to come here and stay with an American family. They liked it so much and they thought the people were very nice which was a contrast to what they'd been told. In any event I complimented the guy who posted this article on the messageboard by saying something like "Congratulations on posting such a wonderful article and showing us all you have a soul. I'm surprised it wasn't another story about how you'd like to kill all the Muslims because your pathetic and live in your mom's basement." So I got banned.

Also I wanted to share a little something I wrote for my federal government class. It starts out sloppy.

this whole article is retarded... Mrs. Wallace doesn't have a brain in her head... the only value bush understands is the value of a dollar... more importantly you can be steadfast and resolute and wrong... if i make a decision to drive my car off a cliff and stick to it should i be celebrated as steadfast and resolute? no i should be thought of as an idiot who drove his car off a cliff... bush likewise has driven this country off a cliff... but he's celebrated for being steadfast and resolute...

"Things aren't going well in Iraq Mr. Bush."

"Stay the course."

"The people in Iraq hate us Mr. Bush."

"Freedom is on the march."

"We need more troops Mr. Bush."

"No, you don't."

This is a man who in an interview said he listens to what his cabinet advisors tell him but in the end he makes his decisions on principle. PRINCIPLE! What's the point of having advisors if you aren't going to listen to them? Why not make decisions by throwing the ones you like into a hat and drawing them out by pure luck. No wonder Colin Powell want's out of the this train wreck. Any time anything bad happens he has to go out and explain it away. He's the scapegoat and that's sad because Colin Powell is such a great man. He's been reduced to Bush's lackey. STEADFAST AND RESOLUTE!!!!! I can't fathom this. He's so wishy washy. A man who says he doesn't need polls uses them to make his policies. He goes out to his ranch and totes around with his dog who chases armadillo's and talks about how much work he can get done in a conference call.

This is a man who was against the Homeland Security department. This is a man who was against a 9/11 Commission. How dare they put a President on trial in a time of war as Sean Hannity always likes to mouth. Yeah how dare they do that to FDR after Pear Harbor. And how dare we put Bush on trial in a time of war which Bush admitted is unwinnable (thus it will never end). Oh, but no wait the very next day "We will win the war on terror." Oh that's odd I could have swarn just yesterday you said it was unwinnable but now it is winnable. Did we get some sort of terrorist detector over night. Is it kind of like a landmine?

STEADFAST AND RESOLUTE!

You sound very knowledgeable and what you wrote in your government class is awesome! What did your teacher say? You HAD to have gotten an A.

Anyway--it sounds like you'll like it here. Too bad you weren't here before the elections. Things were hopping! Stick around. You'll get all the news here first or as it comes on TV. You'll NEVER have to leave your computer!

college, and it was actually just for the classes messageboard... i was on hannity's messageboard because my mom forced me to listen to hannity and coincidentally he completely turned me off the republican party with his half truths... oddly enough he avoids lying quite a bit by simply not telling the whole truth... i guess it's kind of his way of not getting sent to hell for lying... in any event I liked it their because i like to argue more than rant and i get the feeling that i'll do a lot more ranting here than arguing... =)... it was very annoying though because they all had their head up eachothers ass... also there was the problem with the way they portray you all as a bunch of left wing wackos... i came here once and it seemed a little uh... heated... i'm pretty centrist hence my no party affiliation but i hate bush and am a democrat at heart... i just have to stay NPA so I can run for President and say i have not always been a democrat... =)

long enough your butt will widen and your legs will stop working, but it's worth it.....maybe not. ha Stick around for the next 4 years and we'll all try to figure out something.

and please stay away from Hannity's boards. You're one of the only survivors from that place:)
